Vought V-93S Corsair
(1934-1950)
On March 30, 1933, twelve observation/attacker Vought V-93S Corsairs were purchased at a cost of US$ 240,156 and an additional US$ 9,900 covered licensing costs. The aircraft were shipped to Thailand in 1934 and designated Attacker Type 1.
Later, in 1936, twenty-five Corsairs were constructed by the Aeronautical Department, and the same number was also built in the following year. In 1940, another fifty Corsairs were constructed as well.
The Corsairs served with Wing 1, Wing 2 and Flying Training SchoolFighter Type 10
Curtiss Hawk III

On April 12, 1935, the Aeronautical Department became the Air Force Division, reporting directly to the Minister of Defence.
In early 1935, an order was placed with the United States for twenty-four Curtiss Hawk IIIs at a cost of 63,900 Baht each, and a manufacturing license was also bought.
The first twelve Hawk IIIs were shipped to Thailand in August and the remaining dozen arrived in Trainer Type 6
Tachikawa Ki-36 Ida Eight Breguet 24s, priced at 26,700 baht each, multi-purpose aircraft, for reconnaissance, bombing, transportation, and air medevac. These aircraft had primarily been used since 1922 in airmail service in the northeastern Thailand, now called Bomber Type 1. BREGUET Fighter Type 11 Fighter Type 11 (Curtiss Hawk 75N) Shortly thereafter, twelve Curtiss Hawk 75N fighters were also ordered from the United States and transferred to Thailand in 1937, now called Fighter Type 11.
